Has Carl Radke Started Dating Since His Explosive Split with Lindsay Hubbard?
The Summer House cast member dished on his dating life and shared his outlook for the summer: "Getting back to having fun."
Carl Radke intends to finish the summer the same way he's starting it: as a single man.
The Summer House cast member touched on his dating life — or lack thereof — during a candid interview with the New York Times. The piece was published a day after the explosive Summer House Season 8 finale (May 30), in which Carl called off his engagement to Lindsay Hubbard just months before their wedding date.
Carl Radke reveals whether he's looking for romance
Now, nearly a year after the tumultuous split, Carl said he’s eager to start a new chapter without any romantic ties. According to the Times, Carl is “fully single for the first time in years” and plans to keep it that way, at least for the next several months.
He told the outlet that it’s widely advised to abstain from dating during the first 12 months of sobriety. But Carl admits he never took that advice, as he was always in “some sort of relationship” during the first several years of his sober journey.
The Loverboy consultant said he is now focused on his health and career as well as spending time with his loved ones.
“I’m looking forward to this summer because of my friends and getting back to having fun,” Carl said. “Got one more summer before I’m 40.”

Carl admits he's "not proud" of how he handled things with Lindsay Hubbard
After a few flings during the early Summer House seasons, Carl and Lindsay became an official item in early 2022, about seven months before Carl popped the question. Less than a year after the proposal, Lindsay confirmed Carl had called off their engagement following a rocky summer in the Hamptons.
“I’m not proud of how I was handling the situation and how I was treating her,” Carl told the Times. “I mean, I was clearly frustrated and, you know, so I wish I had really been more direct. You can clearly see I’m struggling to communicate my feelings and that’s not on her, that’s on me — I’m seeing myself blame and play victim, and I don’t want to be either.”
Lindsay confirms she's in a new relationship
Weeks before the Summer House Season 8 finale, Lindsay revealed she was no longer single and had reconnected with a former flame. The influencer said she and the mystery man previously dated in 2020, about a year before she started seeing Carl. She spoke about her new beau during a recent episode of the Bitch Bible podcast, saying she decided to give him a second chance in December 2023.
“He’s wonderful,” Lindsay said. “I actually met him and went out with him three-and-a-half years ago. Some of my friends call it a boomerang, where you go out the first time, the timing wasn’t right, and they come back around. So, that’s basically what happened.”
