Remember, Supermodel Elle Macpherson Shares an Ex-Husband with One of The Real Housewives of New York City

We all know that the Big Apple dating pool is apparently small, considering the fact that The Real Housewives of New York City ladies tend to gravitate toward the exact same guy (Harry Dubin, Tom D'Agostino, Brian, also known as the speed dater with the red scarf). And thanks to Thursday night's Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, we were reminded that one New York Housewife even shares an ex-husband with a famous face not on RHONY.

Elle Macpherson discussed her first marriage to fashion photographer Gilles Bensimon during the WWHL After Show, which ended in 1989 after three years of marriage. RHONY fans know that Gilles would later go on to marry alum Kelly Killoren Bensimon in 1997. "Kelly's ex-husband was my first husband that I married when I was, like, a kid, and I'm still really good friends with, actually," Elle said (clip above). "And Kelly, she's good. She's raising the girls and doing her thing."

As for whether Elle has ever seen Kelly on RHONY, well, let's just say that she's not very well-acquainted with her iconic Real Housewives moments. "It's not my thing, but that doesn't mean that it's not good," she said.

Kelly and Gilles got divorced in 2007, right before her time on RHONY began. Since RHONY, Kelly has focused on raising daughters Sea Louise, 20, and Thadeus Ann, 18, both of whom are currently in college, as well as her real estate career. As for Elle, she got married again in 2013 to real estate developer Jeffrey Soffer, but the couple split in 2017. She was recently linked to former doctor Andrew Wakefield.
