Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi Opens up About Preparing to Give Birth Amid Coronavirus
"You're entering a world of chaos, my son," the Shahs of Sunset mom-to-be said.
Pregnancy can already be a stressful time for expectant parents. However, as everyone copes with the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, preparing to welcome a little one into the world has got to be especially worrisome.
That kind of anxiety is exactly what Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi is experiencing as she gets ready to give birth to her first child, son Elijah, on May 16.
The Shahs of Sunset mom-to-be opened up about how she's doing during her pregnancy with everything else going on in the world on Twitter on March 18. "I'm due in less than 2 months but am freaking out about having a baby while the entire world is crumbling," she shared. "Stay strong my little Elijah. You're entering a world of chaos my son."
Luckily, GG has the support of all of her loved ones during this difficult time, including her mom, as well as many members of the Shahs of Sunset crew, like Reza Farahan, Mercedes "MJ" Javid, and Mike Shouhed, who have sent her messages of encouragement throughout her pregnancy.
She also shared during her gender and name reveal on March 1 that she is "proud" to show everyone that she can raise a family without a partner. "You know, I could have focused my energy into finding a partner to have a baby with; that wouldn’t have been hard," GG said in an interview with PEOPLE. "But I’m totally choosing this because this is what I want; this is what I’m ready for. I love that.”
