The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Gregg Leakes completed chemo in April, and after his most recent testing, he confirmed he is currently cancer-free. Nene Leakes shared the good news on Instagram in regards to his battle with stage 3 colon cancer: "We are over joyed to say, we saw the doctors for the results of Gregg’s PET Scan he took last week! Test show, wait for It.....WE ARE CANCER FREE!!! Yes God!"
Nene opened up last week about Gregg's health in an interview with Extra. “Gregg is doing great. A few days ago he took the PET scan so it's going to be able to tell whether he needs to do more chemo, if there's cancer, if it's spread… so he'll get those results next week. But, he looks great. I know he's going to be good," she said. “Cancer is a very big thing. When my husband was diagnosed with cancer, we all were diagnosed with cancer in my house… our house was just… we were so down about it. It was a heavy thing on us.”
Nene and Gregg documented his battle with cancer on Season 11 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, showing it all, including how difficult it has been on their marriage. They later confirmed during the reunion they were seeking couple's counseling to deal with their issues.
