Kat Dubrow Just Turned 17 and Heather & Terry's Birthday Tributes Might Make You Tear Up
The Real Housewives of Orange County daughter was showered with love on her special day by her mom and dad.
Heather Dubrow and Dr. Terry Dubrow's daughter, Kat Dubrow, just turned 17! The Real Housewives of Orange County daughter has had quite a year. For one thing, she spent a month in Evanston, Illinois, where she was enrolled in Northwestern University’s National High School Insitute. The highly competitive summer program guides students through studies in debate, theater arts, playwriting, film, and video.
Speaking of film, Heather announced that she had landed an acting role in Kat’s new film project back in April. The proud mom shared photos of her and Terry filming a scene and posted a video of Kat sitting behind the camera looking like a natural-born director.
With so many updates going on in her life these days, RHOC fans have been following Kat on her journey including when she publicly came out as a lesbian. The teen bravely spoke about her coming-out experience in RHOC Season 16, which you can see in the clip above.

In her October 5 Instagram Stories, Heather expressed pride, amazement, and pure love as her daughter reached another milestone. Sharing a photo of Kat as a little girl, clad in hot pink joggers, the mother wrote: "How is this cutie pie 7 years old?????"
More photos followed in Heather's touching birthday slideshow. "May all of your wishes come true!!!" Heather captioned another snap, which showed a younger Kat having a moment with Snow White. Heather also shared photos of a family encounter with a penguin.
Sharing a picture of Kat posing with the cute black-and-white creature, Heather wrote: "You will always be my penguin girl." Later, she added: "And I love you so much I will always hold a wet, stinky penguin for you."

The birthday love didn't stop there. Terry seized on his daughter's birthday by posting a photo of himself posing with her at a restaurant, where the two were all smiles. "To the sweetest, smartest, most industrious and inspiring 17 year old I’ve ever known," the proud dad wrote. "Happy birthday baby, the world loves you." We told you you might tear up!
