Kate Chastain Is "Safe and Sound" After Evacuating During Hurricane Irma

 The #BelowDeck chief stew gives an update on the aftermath of the storm.

Kate Chastain let Below Deck fans know on Twitter that she is "safe & sound" after Hurricane Irma hit her home state of Florida over the weekend. "Still no power but will try to tweet during tonight's #BelowDeck though I might be charging in my car," Kate tweeted on Tuesday.

The Below Deck chief stew had evacuated to a hotel in Orlando in advance of the storm on Saturday.

The Below Deck boss tweeted Tuesday that he is still without power and Internet.

 

Below Deck stewardess Jen Howell shared some of the impact of Hurricane Irma on her neighborhood.

 

Several members of the Valor crew also encouraged fans to help those affected by Hurricane Irma.
