Carl Radke Just Shared a Major Update on His Love Life

The Summer House cast member is opening up about his relationship status.

By Casey Suglia

Carl Radke is focusing on himself in the wake of his split from his ex-fiancé, Lindsay Hubbard.

How to Watch

Watch Summer House on Bravo Thursdays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

The Summer House cast members called it quits in September 2023 after getting engaged a year earlier. Lindsay released a statement at the time, noting that she was shocked and disappointed by the breakup. "My entire life and future was ripped out from underneath me, and I've had a hard time making sense of it all — with no answers or closure on why," she wrote.

While Lindsay has been investing her time in renovating a house in Nashville and changing up her look, Carl has returned to working for Loverboy part-time and focusing on his sobriety

But just because Carl is picking up the pieces in his life and moving on doesn't mean that he is dating anyone any time soon. Read on to see what Carl had to say about his love life, what he's focusing on now, and what he wants in the future.

Is Carl Radke currently dating anyone?

In an interview with People, Carl admitted that he has stayed single since his split with Lindsay and isn't looking to date anytime soon.

"I don't feel like it's responsible or fair to try and pursue a new relationship when there's still some entanglements, and we're having to relive the breakup publicly on TV," he said. "I personally feel like it's best for me to take some more time, really focus on myself, my career, my family, my friendships."

By redirecting this focus, Carl said that he hopes that the relationship aspect will fall into place. "I think, as I keep working towards that, something will happen on the dating side," he said.

But at the same time, Carl is very aware of his single status. "It's not lost on me that I'm getting older and I'm single," he admitted. "It's a little scary, but I'm embracing the opportunity that I have to reset and move forward."

Carl Radke's plans for the future

Rest assured that Carl does want to get married, but now is not the best time, he told E! News

"I do want to have a family and I do want to settle down, but who you get married to is one of the most important decisions you ever make," he said. "So I'm going to take some time and heal. I'm going to focus on myself."

Although Summer House Season 8 does focus on his split from Lindsay, Carl told People that he will be watching the new episodes in hopes of gaining some "clarity" and "perspective" by processing what is going on in the episodes.

"I do a lot of mental health therapy," he said. "I go to acupuncture, I work out a ton. Staying connected to my groups and my close friends, because at the end of the day, I've got a lot of great support. So I'm going to lean heavily on the support during the airing of the season."

Summer House Season 8 premieres tonight, Thursday Feb. 22, at 9/8c on Bravo. New episodes will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
