We have to talk about Jack Stirrup: In 2019, the free-spirited Brit boarded the Sirocco for a charter journey with Below Deck Mediterranean. While he was only around for Season 4, the world — including his now ex-girlfriend Aesha Scott — is still talking about him.
So, what became of Jack? Keep reading to learn everything the deckhand has been up to since departing our TV screens.
Who did Jack Stirrup date on Below Deck?
During Season 4 of Below Deck Mediterranean, Jack dated Aesha Scott.
During Season 6, chief stew Katie Flood revealed she'd also previously dated Jack.
"I love Jack. Like, he actually got my face tattooed on his arm. It had been like 10 days of us knowing each other. I was just like, 'What the actual f-ck?'" Katie shared during a Season 6, Episode 1 interview. "We were just so young, too passionate, never gonna work. But, like, at least we were together for about a year-and-a-half, you know? It kind of makes it worth it, right?"
What happened to Jack Stirrup during Below Deck Mediterranean Season 4?
Jack's official BravoTV.com bio gave a good indication of what we'd see from the deckhand during Season 4.
"Born and raised in Liverpool, Jack spent time working in the Merchant Navy as an engineer and brought those skill to the exciting world of yachting. With his crazy curls, year-round tan, and smooth accent, it is easy to see why Jack is quite the ladies’ man."
"Leaving the Merchant Navy full of scruffy, smelly, geezers and coming to, like, the most luxurious yacht full of beautiful women is a bit of a shock to the system," shared Jack during a confessional in Episode 1.
Ultimately, he ended up best know for his relationship with second stew Aesha.
The two first connected while dancing together in Episode 5, and Jack was smitten. By Episode 9 they were going on romantic dates, and Episode 13 saw them moving into the same bunk. Hopes were high for the couple when the season ended.
What happened to Jack Stirrup's relationship with Aesha Scott?
The couple split shortly after filming ended for Season 4, when Aesha found out Jack was cheating on her with the woman he'd been dating before joining the crew, they revealed during the Below Deck Mediterranean Season 4 After Show.
"We left the boat, and then he was like, 'Oh, I really want you to come to London with me and meet my family,'" Aesha explained. "But then he's like, 'Don't book a ticket 'til I've gone to this wedding, because we've got family staying, and it's really busy, and I don't know what date we'll have a room for."
She then discovered that he'd renewed his romance with the woman from back home almost immediately and taken her to the family wedding. She had to call him to break it off, and got calls from the other woman telling her to stop calling Jack.
"He definitely owes me a massive apology, and I'm gonna rip him to pieces if we talk," she said at the time. "But then after that, I hope that we can just put it at peace because it wasn't just on the show; we genuinely did have such a great friendship."
During a July 2022 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Aesha revealed that she'd gotten her apology from Jack following their breakup.
"He actually came specifically to France to apologize to me for cheating on me, which I don't actually think his girlfriend knew," Aesha revealed in the Bravo Clubhouse. "So, hope this isn't live."
A year later, Aesha told fans what happened after that fateful French meeting during another WWHL appearance.
"We kind of carried on our friendship after that, because, at the end of the day, we did get on really, really well," Aesha said. "But then when I started seeing [her now-boyfriend Scott Dobson], I cut that off because I thought it was respectful to my new relationship, even though it was just friendship."
What does Jack Stirrup do for work today?
Jack still pursues the yachting life ... kind of. In 2018, he joined yachting mobile app YachtLife as a Yacht Charter Broker.

Did Jack Stirrup have a kid?
Jack welcomed a son, Phoenix Sidney Stirrup, in April 2020, with his then-girlfriend Kelly Hidge. His entire Instagram feed is dedicated to the almost 4-year-old, who has joined him on some world travels.
Where does Jack Stirrup live?
According to his Instagram page, Jack spends most of his time in his native country: England.
While he's often in London, he pops up every once in a while in his hometown of Liverpool.
