The Valley dad elevated his entryway with some sentimental objects.
Jax Taylor has added some personal touches to his SoCal “dream house.”
The Valley cast member revealed the quick change in a series of Instagram Stories on Thursday, May 9. Jax — who shares the stunning abode with estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright — began by posting a video of him in the home's entryway with a photo tile in hand.
Jax Taylor adds quick and easy wall decor to his Valley home
“So everybody knows that I love my Mixtiles and I decided to update my entrance way,” he said in the first clip. “I’m gonna use these three [tiles] here. I already made the marks on my wall. As you know, it takes about 30 seconds to do this.”
Jax then demonstrated how to hang up the photo titles, which captured sweet moments between him and Brittany’s 3-year-old son, Cruz Michael Cauchi.
“Updating the entrance way,” he captioned one of the Stories. “It looks really good.”

Jax Taylor's Living Situation with Estranged Wife, Brittany Cartwright
The Vanderpump Rules alum shared the home update just months after he and Brittany announced their separation. The husband and wife, who married in 2019, shared the news on their When Reality Hits podcast series, confirming Brittany had moved out of the San Fernando Valley home they purchased about five years ago.
“I think that me moving out and taking space to figure out if this is what I want is the best situation for me right now,” Brittany told TMZ in March. “If [Jax] switches some things and changes some things about his life, then maybe we can get back together. But right now, I don’t know.”
Jax Taylor says his Valley home is "like a blessing"
Jax spoke about his living situation during a recent interview with The Daily Dish, insisting the 4,600-square-foot abode was not a “starter home.”
“No, it’s my dream house,” he said. “I love my house. I’m so blessed and I’m so fortunate, uh, that Brittany found it. It’s just a dream to be living in that home. It’s like, that’s the kinda place that people, like, rent on Airbnb. I’m able to live there all the time. It’s just like a blessing.”
How Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright are co-parenting amid their split
Although they’re no longer living under the same roof, Jax and Brittany have maintained a healthy relationship in the interest of their son. The two recently attended the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner in Washington, D.C., and have enjoyed regular outings with their boy, Cruz.
“We’re doing a really good job going back and forth,” Brittany told People magazine about her co-parenting relationship. “And I’ll also take him to the house and play and we’ll swim one day or have him play on his play set and we’ll do different things. Jax will take him to Sky Zone, or he’ll take him to the park one day. But that’s the most important thing. So I think it’s honestly been better because we aren’t fighting in front of him. And for me, I think that’s what is most important, right now. Because that’s why I had to get him out of that situation in the first place.”
