Over the past year, we've been keeping up with Katie Maloney's various style moments, from the sparkly mesh boots she rocked for a pool party in August 2023 to the sheer black gown she wore for Kathy Hilton's holiday party in December.

On February 29, Katie took to her Instagram page to share a gorgeous photo of herself on the beach during her trip. In the snapshot, Katie rocked a navy blue string bikini that featured black lacy detail.
The California resident paired her barely-there swimsuit with a chain necklace and black Ray-Ban sunglasses as she took in the sun and gorgeous beach landscape.

When is Something About Her opening?
Though Katie has been having a good time soaking up the sun on a recent vacation, back at home, she’s been busy with the opening of her and Ariana Madix’s sandwich shop, Something About Her.
On Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules, we’ve gotten a few sneak peeks of the the shop as well as some updates concerning why the opening has been pushed back. On Episode 5, specifically, which aired on February 27, Katie and Ariana shared an unexpected detail about the shop.
"It sounded like this morning was very eventful," Ariana said to Katie. "I missed Penny's call, but I saw her text about the poop."
Yeah — you heard that correctly. "I don't want to say that things at the restaurant the restaurant are sh-tty right now, but someone did just poop on our patio," Ariana explained in an interview during the episode.
Despite that issue, Ariana went on to explain that, in general, "This patio has really held things up." Katie agreed, adding, "It's held up any kind of permit that we could obtain to open."
In the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 After Show, the friends shared more details about their difficult journey to opening the sandwich shop. "The health department, they're on their own time, calendar, everything," Katie said. "These are things we kind of knew, but you can't really fully understand until you're in it. They give you a list of things you gotta fix, and then they come back, and then there's other things you gotta fix, and it just becomes like splitting hairs."
"If it [were] up to us, we would've been open," Katie added. "None of these things are in our hands. We're at the mercy of other people."
In conclusion, Katie noted, "All we're waiting for is health [permits], and that's the main thing that we need."
