Kelly Dodd on Getting Plastic Surgery

From a breast reduction to vaginal rejuvenation, The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Kelly Dodd is no stranger to plastic surgery. And, while many of the other ‘Wives choose not to show their procedures on camera, Kelly is not shy about sharing her secrets. In an interview with The Daily Dish podcast, Kelly revealed even more about her many procedures and her secrets to looking young.

According to Kelly, she has always been proactive when it comes to preserving her youth. “When I was in my twenties, I put sunblock on and I made sure I wasn't in the sun. And now I'm in my forties and my skin looks great because I stayed out of the sun,” she shared.

“A lot of women don't know how to go about maintenance, because, you know, I'm 42, so it's just getting harder; it's not getting easier. I think [with] little changes along the way, you're going to look better when you're older,” she continued.

When asked about getting her surgeries done on camera, she said that she simply wouldn’t have any other time to have them done. “I don’t understand how some of these women can go get face-lifts and things like that [before the reunion]. How would you even have time to, like, heal? But they do,” she said. For Kelly, “It’s easier to just get it done on camera.”

In her own words, Kelly is “under construction.” Hear more about her surgeries, her thoughts on the RHOC reunion, and her second season on the show, in the podcast episode, above.
