Kim Zolciak-Biermann and Kroy Biermann are a duo close to Bravo fan's hearts — likely because we saw their meet-cute happen in real time. In 2010, while filming an episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta at a charity event, Kim spotted her future husband... or part of him, anyway.

“I’ve never in my whole life seen an ass like that,” Kim told the NFL player that fateful day, which was showcased in Season 3 Episode 7 of RHOA, seen in the video below. “I just had to tell you. Adorable.”

Kroy was obviously taken by the compliment, and the duo were shown exchanging numbers.

"Do you think he'll call me? Duh. Would you call me?" said Kim in an interview. And call her he did.

Here's a timeline of Kim and Kroy's relationship, from that initial meeting to the couple's divorce news, reported in May 2023.

Meet Tight Ass

Kim and Kroy first met while Kim was supporting friend and RHOA cast member Shereé Whitfield at a "Dancing with the Atlanta Stars"-themed charity event. After Kim spotted Kroy's famous butt, she enlisted her friend to track him down.

"It’ll be seven years this May [since I met him], which is insane to me that it’s been seven years," Kim recalled to The Daily Dish in May 2017. "That’s why Shereé and I will always be friends. I was like, 'Go find him, Shereé. Please go find him.'"

"It’s pretty awesome that it was all caught on camera too," she added.

"When Kroy said he was writing his own vows, my heart began to race," wrote Kim in a BravoTV.com blog in May 2012. "All these thoughts ran through my mind: 1. I am not sure if I will even be able to utter 'I do' let alone try to profess my love for my husband in front of 200 people. 2. It will take all day to say my vows, because the man I am about to marry is just that f-cking incredible. 3. I only have 30 days to get it together!"

"'I can do this,' I just kept telling myself...and I did!" she added.
