On Wednesday (July 14), she noted that she's currently spending a lot of time with her cat. "The lil street breed shelter cat I was not supposed to even keep has not left my side for 3 days. Licked my tears, spent way more time inside than usual, and checks on me constantly," Naomie shared in her recent Instagram Stories, along with a photo of the cat. "If you show an animal love they will return it tenfold."

Naomie is a longtime cat owner, and her new sidekick comes into her life following the passing of her cat, Gizmo (he previously appeared on Southern Charm), at the age of 18 earlier this year. She also previously owned a cat named Z, who passed away in 2020.

She also thanked fans for supporting her by shopping on her fashion site L'ABEYE, which she launched in 2018. "I love you people so much. Thank you for supporting me," she added in her Instagram Stories on Wednesday.

Naomi Olindo New Cat Update

Earlier this week, it was confirmed that the Southern Charm alum and Metul had broken up after three years-plus together and shortly after they moved to New York City just this summer. "Naomie and Metul are no longer together," Naomie's agent, Paul Desisto, told PEOPLE on Monday (July 12). "She is back in Charleston and plans to stay there for the time being."

Naomie and Metul began dating in the spring of 2018 after her split from Craig Conover. The former couple often posted photos from their adventures together prior to their breakup. Metul was also by her side following her dad Joel's passing in December 2019. In the summer of 2021, Naomie and Metul moved to NYC after it was revealed in October 2020 that he had matched for a fellowship at Weill Cornell.
