Patricia Atlschul Says She and Whitney Sudler-Smith Self-Quarantined Together for 4 Months

In case you were wondering, Patricia Altschul and son Whitney Sudler-Smith spent a good portion of 2020 self-quarantining together in Charleston at Patricia's home. The Southern Charm matriarch shared the news on Instagram where she also posted a moment with Michael the Butler from the Southern Charm Season 7 trailer that features her sterilizing a package amid the pandemic.

She also shared some insight into that time. "Michael the Butler, [Whitney] and I were self quarantined together for 4 months," she said, referring to the time spent with her live-in right-hand man, as well as her son, during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. She added, "Shenanigans."

Previously, Patricia revealed why it was possible for Whitney to spend an extended period of time at his mom's home in South Carolina. “Michael, Whitney, and I have been self-quarantined since March 6th,” she wrote, adding, “Whitney can do his work from Charleston.”

In fact, the pandemic will be a topic tackled during Season 7 of Southern Charm, in which Patricia and Whitney will make appearances. According to the network, "This season, these Southern Socialites must navigate a consequential year that tests their relationships against the backdrop of a global pandemic and a cultural shift in Charleston, while still trying to maintain the breezy, low-country living they know so well."

Bravo added in a press release about the new season: "Cameras documented their lives from February to July 2020 with self-shot footage during quarantine."

As for what fans can expect from the new season, Patricia teased alongside that moment of her sterilizing the delivery, "Yes Michael, Whitney and I will be back. And there will be lots of fun, frivolous times as well."

She also added, "It’s wilder than ever... no one can think these things up."
