Shannon Storms Beador Gets More Candid Than Ever on “Relationship Issues” with John Janssen

The RHOC cast member clashed with Heather Dubrow and Emily Simpson over the relationship talk.

By Allison Crist

The drama surrounding Shannon Storms Beador and John Janssen’s relationship came to a head on The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 17 Episode 11 — but not between Shannon and John themselves. Instead, Shannon clashed with both Heather Dubrow and Emily Simpson over what she believed to be them gossiping about her and John behind her back.

How to Watch

In the process, Shannon opened up about the “relationship issues” she’s been alluding to all season long. Keep reading for details.

Shannon Storms Beador and Heather Dubrow’s Conversation About John Janssen

Heather set the record straight

Upon seeing Shannon for the first time since they got into an argument over who said what about John at Jennifer Pedranti’s party on Episode 10 of Season 17, Heather apologized.

“I am sorry that you’re upset,” she began. “I texted you because I didn’t want this to fester for days and I wanted to talk to you, but I don’t like how people are trying to say that I’m spreading your information, which I’m not, and I’ve never, ever initiated a conversation about your relationship, ever. I am not spreading your information, and specific details that you have told me are in the vault.”

Shannon and John’s “Issues”

Shannon, however, took issue with the phrase “specific details.”

As she told Heather, “Let’s just stop about the ‘specific details,’ because you are alluding that they are these horrible, horrible things and they are not. They are normal relationship issues — spending time together, blended family kids — that I’ve talked to you about.”

Heather denied that she was “alluding” to anything, although in a confessional interview, she accused John of “lov[ing] being in the limelight” — so much so that “it’s a lot of the reason he’s with [Shannon].”

Back in conversation with Shannon, Heather also expressed her disdain for Shannon “pointing [the] finger at her,” when she’s apparently the one who “tell[s] lots of people lots of things.”

Gina KirschenheiterTamra Judge, and Emily shared a similar sentiment in their confessional interviews, noting that Shannon has a habit of discussing the details of her relationship with them and others, and then forgetting about it.

Where Shannon and Heather Left Things

Ultimately, Shannon and Heather’s conversation ended on a bad note. The latter RHOC cast member said she didn’t want to “hurt” Shannon, but Shannon responded, “Heather, you’ve already done it.”

Shannon then stormed off.

Shannon Storms Beador and Emily Simpson's Conversation About John Janssen

Shannon and Emily had a similar conversation, but on the phone — and this time, Shannon was the one being called out.

As Emily told her, “You know what, Shannon, you share a bunch of bullsh-t to everyone… and then you don’t want to take any accountability for it. I’m tired of it being everybody else’s fault, Shannon. I have arguments with Shane all the time, but I also talk about it. That’s the difference.”

Emily also accused Shannon of being “two different people” — more specifically, “Jekyll and Hyde.”

She then pulled out of attending Shannon’s party before hanging up.

Looking to the future, there’s seemingly more drama to come as it pertains to Shannon and John’s relationship. Check out the RHOC Season 17 midseason trailer for details.
