Shep Attended (a) Craig’s Wedding and It Looked Amazing: Details
The Southern Charm cast member revealed that he made a “bold and adventurous” decision at the nuptials.
Shep Rose may not be ready for marriage himself, but being a wedding guest has become his “specialty.”
The Southern Charm-er started 2023 by traveling to Cape Town, South Africa, for his friend Craig’s wedding (no, not Craig Conover, though marriage has been on his mind lately, and not his dog, Lil Craig, who has sadly split from Peaches). Though Shep got into a car accident along the way, he made it to “wine country” in time for the nuptials, and he shared a few highlights from the memorable occasion on his Instagram page.
Shep first posted a carousel of photos from the big day on his main feed, sharing more about his deep-rooted connection to the groom.
“In Stellenbosch celebrating [Taryn] and Craig’s (another Craig) wedding. [Craig’s] mom and my aunt Debbie were best friends at [the] University of Alabama back in the day. Debbie and Truman should be here!” he wrote in the caption of a January 5 Instagram post. “But alas. It’s just me.”
While Shep’s journey to the venue may have started off with some car difficulties, he added that he “love[s] it here in South Africa.”
He also loves any excuse to attend a wedding reception.
“Not a bad spot for a wedding,” he wrote in an Instagram Story about the picturesque setting. “Somehow I’m early. I think I was tricked by the wedding planner.”
In another Instagram Story, Shep shared his “bold” drink order (though he was in wine country, he went with a single-malt Scotch whisky).
“Receptions are my specialty,” he captioned the solo shot. “I started with a [Glenfiddich Whisky] on the rocks. A bold and adventurous opening move.”
Shep isn’t looking to tie the knot anytime soon, but he did tell ex-girlfriend Taylor Ann Green that he would “love her for eternity” at BravoCon 2022. Find out more about what the exes had to say about each other following their split by pressing play on the video above.
