Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave Gives an Update on Dove's Health Nearly a Year After Neurosurgery
The RHOBH alum shared how her 1-year-old is doing as she completes her post-op recovery.
Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave is sharing a major update on daughter Dove’s health. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum recently took to Instagram to share how the 1-year-old is doing nearly a year after undergoing neurosurgery.
In an Instagram post on April 24, Teddi confirmed that Dove is now in the final stages of recovery after completing a corrective procedure for Lambdoid Craniosynostosis last July. The mom of three posted an adorable photo of the tot sitting in a swing while donning a helmet, which she began wearing as part of her post-op recovery last fall.
“DOVE UPDATE” Teddi captioned the precious snapshot, going on to explain, “I’ve…gotten a lot of helmet questions. She has about 6 weeks left and then, if all looks good, only yearly checks with the neurologist.”
While she completes her recovery, Dove is thriving more than ever, as Teddi went on to reveal in the caption. “She is walking and talking and already has her fave words: NO, MAMA, DADA, WOWOWs (aka dogs),” she wrote. “She loves to laugh, be the boss (wonder where she got that from) and throw major fits anytime she doesn’t get what she wants (aka being a kid).”
Earlier this month, Teddi shared further proof of Dove’s burgeoning personality, posting an adorable video of her little one happily toddling around the house. “Things just got serious...” she wrote at the time, also adding the hashtag “#13monthsold.”
