Kandi Burruss’ husband, Todd Tucker, just had a milestone birthday. The entrepreneur turned the big 5-0, and he had an epic family bash to mark the occasion. Photos from the celebration showed that now, as ever, The Real Housewives of Atlanta “fam” knows how to party. Let’s take a look.
The “fam is reunited” for Todd Tucker’s 50th birthday
In an August 6 Instagram post, Kandi’s eldest daughter, Riley Burruss, shared a series of photos from Todd’s big day. “Fam is reunited,” the aspiring music exec (who will soon turn 21 later this month) wrote, also sharing a photo with her cousin, Patrick Dallas. “Happy birthday [Todd].”
The first photo showed Riley’s elegant look for the celebration. The 20-year-old wore a black dress with a diamond choker, and her glam featured dark red lips and a bold cat eye. Other photos showed members of the “fam” posing together at what appeared to be a swanky Atlanta restaurant. Kandi smiled wide for a snap, and Todd’s daughter Kaela joined the group photo too.
On her own feed, Kaela shared the family snaps and weighed in on the party. “We had a ball,” the 27-year-old noted. She also shared a closer look at her ensemble for the evening, which was a cute blue dress featuring cap sleeves and a keyhole neckline. She brought some shimmer into the look with silver boots and a matching bag.

Kandi shared her own post for the birthday boy. To caption an August 4 video, the mogul wrote: “Happy birthday my love!!!!! [Todd] this is your year. So many amazing things are already in the works [and] you’re just getting started. This is your golden year. Continue to achieve your goals [and] get your gold! I love you so much [and] I’m so thankful for you! Everybody give [Todd] some bday love!”
The caption accompanied a video of Kandi and Todd posing on a yacht. She wore a fringed white bikini, while he sported some boldly patterned swim trunks.

On August 6, Todd took to Instagram to reflect on the love he’d received. Re-sharing a photo of Riley and Kaela, the newly minted 50-year-old wrote: “The best thing about turning 50 is spending time with my family. I love these young ladies so much.”
He added: “And yes babe [Kandi you’re] a young lady too! Thanks for all the bday love!”
