Katie Maloney Has Strong Feelings About Tom Schwartz's Apartment (VIDEO)

In August 2022, Katie Maloney told Tom Schwartz during an episode of her former podcast, “I think your apartment is beautiful...You just gotta, like, make it your own.” However, more than a year later, it seems Katie has different thoughts about her ex-husband's home.

In the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 After Show video above, Katie was asked about Tom's apartment, and she didn't hold back. "It's giving, like, college, this is temporary, even though I've been here for well over a year," she said. "He just has dust in places...but he's not, like, a dirty person. When we lived together, he would clean. He would do things. I just don't know why it's different now." All of that aside, Katie noted, "His plants thrive." 

"I just feel like if you make your space nice, you'll just be happier," she added. "But I feel like he wants to view it as not a permanent situation."

Tom Schwartz opens up about his apartment

Tom wasn't exactly thrilled about his new setup, either. "I try not to bitch too much," he said in the video above. "I'm grateful to have an apartment and a roof over my head, but aside from all the sadness with getting divorced, going from a beautiful dream home, like, your sanctuary where you're the [king] of your castle and kind of being relegated back into an apartment, it really sucked."

To feel more settled, Tom explained that having "20 plants" in the apartment "somehow made it feel more like a home." 

While giving BravoTV.com a tour of the apartment in the video below, Tom explained how his feelings about his new digs have changed over time. "I've grown to love this place," he said. "It feels kind of like a home. A transitional home."
