Katie Maloney-Schwartz Shares What's Next for Her Following Her Split from Tom
The Vanderpump Rules cast member was also spotted out with Tom Schwartz amid their breakup.
About a week after they confirmed their breakup, Katie Maloney-Schwartz and Tom Schwartz are giving fans more insight into what's next as they begin this new chapter in their relationship.
As Katie revealed on her You’re Going to Love Me podcast last week, she and Tom are still living together and navigating a friendship after they made the decision to split. And it does seem like they remain on good terms. In fact, both Katie and Tom shared some moments from a recent get-together to their Instagram Stories on Saturday, March 19. Tom captioned a photo of Katie taking a sip of a drink, "[It's] all good."
On Sunday, March 20, Katie offered some updates on how she's doing after she and Tom confirmed their split on March 15. In a Q&A with fans in her Instagram Stories, she shared how she is handling it all. "I'm actually doing really good," she wrote. "Feeling really loved and supported. I feel very hopeful."
As for how she came to the decision to end her marriage, Katie told a fan it was all about "trusting myself."
Katie also revealed what her goals are for this "new chapter." "I'm on the pursuit of happiness. I want to feed my soul. And of course I want to prioritize my career goals," she wrote. In a separate post, Katie also confirmed that she is still interested in opening up her sandwich shop with Ariana Madix.
Speaking of the Vanderpump Rules crew, in the same podcast episode released last Friday, Katie shared more about how her inner circle has been there for her and Tom amid the split. "Everyone has been very supportive," she said. "There's been no judgment; only love, and compassion, and understanding."
Last week, Katie shed more light on who she is today in a written Q&A for Dear Media, the network that hosts her podcast. In the Q&A posted to Instagram during Women's History Month, and which was also released the same week she and Tom shared the news of their split, Katie answered what was her "most empowering moment." "I choose myself, in any form," she responded. "Accept and love myself and don't back down."
She also answered the question of "the best piece of advice I ever received was..." with, "If you're being true to yourself you will never have any regrets."
