What Was Sonja Morgan's Relationship with Luann de Lesseps' Fiancé Really Like?
The #RHONY mom revealed whether or not her friend's current beau was just a hookup on #WWHL.
There's been a lot of debate over how well Luann de Lesseps' fiancé Thomas D'Agostino Jr. knew some of the other cast members of The Real Housewives of New York City, namely Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan. Ramona squabbled with Luann over how serious things were really getting with Tom before the Countess came into the picture in the Berkshires. And during the latest episode of RHONY on Wednesday night, roomies Luann and Sonja seemed to have differing ideas about the true nature of Sonja's relationship with the Countess' then-soon-to-be fiancé.
Luann called it a "wham, bam, thank you, ma'am" situation in the episode, a.k.a. something like a one-night stand. However, Sonja suggested that she and Tom had been seeing each other for a while, perhaps even while he was dating Luann.
So was Tom just a onetime fling for Sonja, or was there something more going on between the New Yorkers? Sonja elaborated on her side of the story during Wednesday night's episode of Watch What Happens Live (clip above)."With Sonja Morgan, it's never just once," she said of how many times she has hooked up with Tom. "Come on. We're adults. Come on, Andy."
Sonja said she and Tom have known each other for at least 10 years, although they were not "hooking up that long." "This was a recurring thing over the years," she explained. "We have the same friends in common. He's an adult. I'm an adult. He's about to be 50 years old, never married, no children."
Whatever really happened between Sonja and Tom, Luann is being cool and just focusing on the present and future. "BL, Before Lu, I couldn't care what happened. I really can't," she said in April during an interview with Jenny McCarthy on her SiriusXM show. "And you know what? I don't blame him for doing Sonja. I would do Sonja if I was a man. I totally get it. She's hot."
But still, Sonja's reaction to hearing the news of Luann's impending engagement on RHONY was priceless.
