Camille Grammer Opens up About Medical Marijuana and the Food She Managed to Eat During Chemo
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cancer survivor shared intimate details from a frightening time in her life.
Camille Grammer is using her platform to shed insight into the benefits of medical marijuana. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills newlywed is a two-time cancer survivor, and she's passionate about raising funds and awareness to help combat the disease.
In an Instagram post from February 20, Camille shared a photo of CannaCo Marijuana, and included some info in her caption. "American Cancer Society states that medical Marijuana helps with the side effects from chemo and radiation therapy," she wrote. "My system doesn’t handle #medicalmarijuana but it’s been so helpful to many that are suffering through their cancer treatments. Please consult with your doctors before going this route but many say it has been extremely helpful."
The Beverly Hills mother also opened up about her own experience with loss of appetite during chemotherapy. "I was extremely Dehydrated and nauseous while going through my chemotherapy regimen. I drank watered down Gatorade and coconut water. I could keep down some soups and even baked [potatoes.]" She added, "For those going through treatment remember you will feel better days after you finish chemotherapy."
