The RHOM cast member got emotional while previewing the upcoming season’s “horrible life changes” at BravoCon 2022.

Since joining The Real Housewives of Miami in Season 2, Lisa Hochstein has been an open book, sharing everything from her infertility struggles to the marital trouble she faced with Lenny Hochstein. Not surprisingly, her candor will continue on RHOM Season 5, which returns to Peacock on Thursday, December 8, as she and Lenny navigate their divorce.

During BravoCon 2022’s We’re Going (Back) to Miami panel on Sunday, October 16, Lisa revealed just how emotional fans can expect to see her in the upcoming season. “So, this has been a hard one for me,” Lisa shared. “When I signed up for the show, I wanted to show my life, and it was so fun for me for so many years. Halfway through, horrible life changes happen to me. You’ll have to see it to believe it.”

Despite the heartbreak, she found a solid support system in her fellow RHOM cast members, including Alexia NepolaLarsa PippenGuerdy AbrairaDr. Nicole Martin, and Julia Lemigova, as well as friends Marysol PattonAdriana De Moura, and Kiki Barth.

“I feel like all these women have been an amazing support to me,” she told BravoCon attendees. “Real life sh-- went down, and they were there supporting me. We really are a team. I could not have gone through this without them.”

The RHOM Season 5 supertease, which debuted during the panel, opened with Lisa telling the other women that she was unsure if her “marriage [was] going to survive,” but soon revealed that Lenny was already dating someone else. The tears continued to flow as she lamented “losing [her] husband to another woman” and her trainer dropping her as a client “because Lenny has her training the mistress.” Later, Lisa also took issue with her ex bringing the woman around their two kids, Logan, 7, and Elle, 3.

So, of course, rewatching the footage made Lisa cry as the trailer played at Bravo’s three-day New York City event, where the crowd chanted her name in support.

These days, Lisa is currently single and confirmed to fans that Lenny, whom she married in 2009, will keep their Star Island home. Meanwhile, Lisa remains laser-focused on raising their son and daughter.

After all, she said as much in a May statement to The Daily Dish when news of her and Lenny’s impending divorce started making headlines. “With two young children involved, as a mom I’m going to focus all of my energy and time on them,” she said, at the time. “I’m blindsided by his behavior and reckless handling of the situation.”
