Dolores Catania Responds to Jennifer Aydin Saying She Looks Like an “Old F--king Handbag”
Dolores had a surprising response to her RHONJ castmate’s insult about her looks during their explosive argument.
On the February 7 Season 13 premiere of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, tensions between Dolores Catania and Jennifer Aydin came to a head when the ladies got into an explosive argument that ended with Jennifer yelling that Dolores “looks like an old f--king handbag.”
When Dolores appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that same night, she explained that she was relatively unbothered by the insult. “I wasn’t that upset about it,” Dolores shared. “It’s OK. She apologized.”
With handbags being top of mind, Andy later asked Dolores for her thoughts on Jennifer’s fashion. During a game of “Keep Your Zen When It Comes to Jen,” Dolores responded to the question, “What item would you want to steal from Jen’s wardrobe?”
“None,” she said. “I have borrowed things though… and she gave me a pair of Louboutins one time.”
During the WWHL After Show, Dolores also revealed how her boyfriend, Paul “Paulie” Connell reacted to Frank Catania saying he looked like Buzz Lightyear during the RHONJ Season 12 reunion. “When I left the reunion, Paul had dinner waiting for me, and I had to go home and break the news that that was said on the reunion,” she shared. “Andy said, ‘Oh, but it’s cute,’ he kind of calmed me down in the moment. However, I had to go home and break it to Paul, and he laughed. He was like, ‘That's pretty funny.’”
“He took it like a man, he took it well, he made a joke out of it,” Dolores continued. “Frank actually had a blanket made for him with… his face on Buzz Lightyear for Christmas.”
