Ramona Singer Says RHONY Is “Better... Stronger” Without Bethenny Frankel at BravoCon 2019
The Real Housewives of New York City cast members reflected on Bethenny Frankel's departure from the series at BravoCon 2019.
Ramona Singer is ready to turn over a new leaf. On Friday’s Empire State of 'Wives panel featuring The Real Housewives of New York City at BravoCon 2019, the ladies were asked about the future of the show without Bethenny Frankel, who announced her departure from the franchise this past summer. Ramona said: “I think we’re better, we’re stronger” without her.
Luann de Lesseps added, “we have such a great season.”
Though she's no longer a part of the series, some of the ladies are still friends with their former cast member. Dorinda Medley and Tinsley Mortimer both shared that they are still in touch with Bethenny and have a good relationship with her.
The ladies also dished on the other RHONY alums they keep in touch with. Luann confirmed that she still speaks with Jill Zarin and Kelly Bensimon. Ramona and Dorinda are both in touch with Carole Radziwill.
Luann also shared that Aviva Drescher recently attended one of her Countess and Friends cabaret shows, and confirmed to a curious fan that she did not throw her leg.
In August, Bethenny reflected on her time on RHONY on Instagram, writing: “I am fortunate to have created a business and career that some people only dream of. I had a beautiful baby girl who is now 9 years old, and she has changed me as a human being. I was able to give back and help people all over the world who have been hit with the worst of unforeseen circumstances, which we will all continue together.
“GO for it. Whatever it is. Reach for your dreams in life and love and make the impossible happen, because it can happen and it WILL happen. Come from a place of yes and it’s yours for the taking.”
