Emily Simpson Reveals She's "Obsessed" with *This* Type of Workout

Emily Simpson remains on her fitness grind and is showing no signs of slowing down.
Nearly a year after changing her exercise regimen, The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member announced she was just 10 pounds away from her “goal weight.” Emily shared the update in one of her regular Q&A sessions, admitting she was having a bit of trouble shedding the final pounds.
“No I haven’t reached it,” Emily told a fan, who asked if she had hit her desired weight. “Not sure if I can get there. I currently weigh the same as what I weighed for many many years before gaining 40 pounds, so I feel like I’m at the weight my body likes and it just doesn’t want to budge.”
Although the issue could've easily discouraged Emily, she hasn’t let it derail her commitment to fitness.

The OC mom regularly takes to Instagram to share a look at her daily workout routine, which begins with 20-30 minutes of cardio followed by an hour of weightlifting. Emily has shared dozens of Instagram photos and videos of her doing glute, leg, arm, and ab exercises; however, there is one type of workout she enjoys above all others.
Emily shared the information in an October 12 Instagram post that showed her doing a set of lat pulldowns in her local gym. The short video captured the attorney kneeling in front of a cable machine as she steadily completed a handful of reps.
“What’s your favorite body part to work out?” she captioned the clip, which showed her in a merlot workout set from the Fabletics x Khloé Kardashian collection. “I’m pretty obsessed with back exercises but I know I have to get in all the other body parts too.”
One fan co-signed Emily’s comments, saying she was also “obsessed” with back and shoulder exercises.
“I hear you! Every day I’m like: let’s do back!” Emily responded. “I do love shoulders day too.”
Emily Simpson Changes Her Diet
Of course, exercise is just one part of Emily’s renewed health journey. In addition to intensifying her daily workouts, the mother of three said she also switched up her diet.
“I cut out dairy. I don’t drink much alcohol at all,” she told The Messenger last month. “I eat mostly protein. I don’t eat late at night. I don’t eat fast food really anymore. I eat most meals at home. I cook meals. I am conscientious about what I’m eating. Just those changes made a huge difference.”
She continued: “I still am curvy and muscular and healthy, but I would still like to lose another 10 pounds. I feel like that’s kind of a goal weight for me. A good, solid, healthy weight.”
