Girly Girl and Aspen Edmonds Are the Cure for Seasonal Depression

It was destiny. When Meghan King Edmonds adopted Girly Girl, a goldendoodle pup, while she was pregnant with her daughter, Aspen, she basically ensured that the two of them would grow up together like twins. Along with her mother’s voice, Girly Girl’s bark was one of the sounds Aspen most frequently heard from the womb. Although does Girly Girl even bark? From Instagram, she appears to be a perfect angel dog.

As it turns out, the two of them really are best friends. Girly Girl and Aspen do everything together. They go to the playground together. They snuggle with their dad, Jimmy Edmonds, together. They play ball together. When Aspen goes on the swings, Girly Girl goes on the swing next to her. They even share a stroller.

Because Girly Girl is a little older, she’s always around to show her baby sister how to do scary things, like climb through tunnels.

Recently, they duo have been spotted trying out gear for the twin boys Meghan is currently carrying, who are due in June. We can only guess that they have no idea what’s about to hit them. From the way Girly Girl loves Aspen, there’s no doubt that she’ll adore her new brothers. Although nothing will ever change the special bond Girly Girl and Aspen have shared since they were babies.
