NYC or L.A.: Which City's Partiers Are Harder to Please?
The #PumpRules SURvers break each coast's bartending style.
The rivalry between the West Coast and the East Coast has always been strong. Take the infamous rap feuds of the '90s. Or, that time Katy Perry wanted to out-do Jay Z and Alicia Keys with her own ode to her hometown. So, now we want to know which city, New York or Los Angeles, is it harder to bartend in, and we asked the Vanderpump Rules crew to serve as experts on the matter.
Ariana Madix told Bravo After Hours, "I feel like a New York crowd might be a little bit more a side eye."
Jax Taylor added, "You got to actually have skill here in New York."
Still, Ariana notes that there's a different level of glam one has to include in their routine to tend bar in the City of Angels. "I did put on lashes though. I feel that's a very L.A. thing for me to have done," she said. "When I lived here [in New York] I did not wear makeup literally ever and I had like a giant bag that I schlepped around with me everywhere I went with like three changes of clothes in it."
