Lisa Hochstein started off as a Canada-based model with Hollywood aspirations and is now a successful Florida businesswoman.

There’s little Lisa Hochstein from The Real Housewives of Miami can’t do in the business world, and she’s continuing to forge a path to even greater success.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Miami on Peacock and the Bravo App.

Amid her divorce from Dr. Lenny Hochstein, the Miami original recently announced at BravoCon 2023 that she and new beau, Jody Glidden, launched a website to aid people living under the financial strains of divorce.

Splitwell, which Lisa previously described as “a platform to help other women,” is a way to turn the Housewife’s pain “into purpose,” she recently explained to Page Six. And while the website is accepting visitors to join a waitlist (for now), RHOM fans can peep Lisa’s résumé here to see what else the mother of two has achieved.

Lisa Hochstein’s Modeling and Acting Career

In 2002, the Toronto-born Housewife, whose roots are steeped in the world of pageantry and modeling, was crowned Miss Swimsuit Canada, according to IMDB. The fitness guru has graced several magazine covers over the years since, Screen Rant reported.

Later, Lisa aimed for the bright lights of Hollywood, hoping to expand her modeling career and pursue her dreams of acting, she explained to She Knows in 2012.

“I absolutely love Canadians and Canada, but I knew at a very young age I wanted to go to the States — somewhere warm,” she said. “It’s so cold in Canada! I realize with my acting and modeling that L.A. would have a lot more opportunities for me. I felt like I could only go so far with my career in Canada.”

She added that “Hollywood is the place to go.”

At the height of Lisa’s modeling career, she appeared in Playboy in the early 2000s. However, she told HuffPost in 2012 that she regretted baring it all for the magazine.

“It’s something I did, but it’s something I wish I didn’t do,” she said. “At the time, I really glamorized it, but it was a really glamorous thing then. But now those pictures are out there for everyone to see, and it’s not something I’m proud of.”

Lisa also worked in Tinseltown as an actress.

In 2014, she posted a throwback photo to her Instagram, discussing her role on the 2003 series Playmakers as a “love interest” to Omar Gooding’s character.

The RHOM cast member also snagged a handful of parts on the big screen, including in the 2004 film Against the Ropes starring Meg Ryan, though the scene was eventually scrapped from the final cut, according to Lisa’s IMDB page.

She also had a small role in the star-studded 2006 film The Last Kiss, starring Zach Braff, Casey Affleck, and Blythe Danner.

Lisa Hochstein's Miami-Based Medspa

Lisa and her now-estranged husband, Lenny (the plastic surgeon dubbed the “Boob God”), opened the Miami-based Hochstein Medspa in 2017. Of course, there's no better way to have a grand opening than by having some of the Bravo franchise’s most-loved Housewives help celebrate, including fellow RHOM cast members Marysol Patton, Adriana De Moura, and The Real Housewives of New York City O.G. Jill Zarin, as seen in a series of Lisa’s IG photos.

Hoschstein Medspa features a wide range of surgical cosmetic procedures, including breast augmentations, Brazilian butt lifts, and face lifts. On top of that, clients can also pick from a long list of non-invasive procedures, such as Botox, fillers, body sculpting, and other “signature treatments.”

“Dr. Hochstein’s vision has emerged with a comprehensive aesthetic retreat where all one’s transformational needs are fulfilled,” the website states. “At Hochstein Medspa, we address your individual beauty needs with a results-oriented program specifically tailored to bring about the personal improvements you desire.”

Lisa has openly discussed the work she’s had on her breasts and teeth, as well as her recent decision to let her fillers dissolve.

“I definitely had an addiction,” she said on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. “And watching the show, I saw it, and I was horrified.”

Lisa told Andy she had an all-access pass to cosmetic work, thanks to Hochstein Medspa, though in light of her and Lenny’s ongoing separation, it’s unclear what connection Lisa has with the clinic.

It seems the Housewife looks forward to conducting business separately from her estranged spouse, as revealed in a March 2023 interview with Vulture.

“I am excited about finally building and branding my own businesses and not focusing so much on Lenny’s,” she said. “That’s all I did. I helped build what I thought [was] ours. I really just want to focus on myself because building just for him was a mistake.”

Lisa Hochstein’s Philanthropy

Lisa remains a pillar in the Miami scene thanks to her philanthropic works. Hochstein Medspa’s website features a host of charitable events in which Lisa was included, including kids’ events for Smile Train, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida, and the Humane Society of Greater Miami.

But that’s not all.

Over the years, the Hochsteins have sponsored a long list of charitable events, many of which provide care for children with special needs. Dolphin Care offers dolphin therapy for kids; Anchors Away gives special needs children a chance at therapeutic sailing; and TinySuperheroes sends superhero-themed capes to sick children nationwide.

Golf tournaments sponsored by the Hochsteins have helped raise funds for several diseases, including Parkinson’s disease, breast cancer, and heart disease.

In 2012, Lisa discussed her philanthropic endeavors when asked by Haute Living what she wanted to convey to Bravo audiences.

“That I am very passionate about raising awareness and funds for the charities I work with, and I love supporting our community,” Lisa said.

RHOM fans have continued to learn more about Lisa’s philanthropy, including when Lisa, Larsa, Dr. Nicole Martin, and Kiki Barth took their best ballroom looks to the InterContinental Miami Make-A-Wish Ball in 2022.

“What an incredible night benefitting Make-A-Wish Foundation!” Lisa wrote on her Instagram page. “I’ve been associated with this amazing cause for the past 15 years. I don’t think I’ve missed one year since I moved to Miami.”

Lisa Hochstein’s upcoming projects

As if trying to juggle her work with being the mother of two children wasn’t enough, Lisa is now keeping busy with Splitwell.

The new business venture’s mission is about “breaking up without breaking the bank,” as stated on the website’s landing page.

Lisa Hochstein and Jody Glidden pose together in front of a sunset in California.

The project comes as her and Lenny’s divorce continues.

“Because of this, all of these horrible things that have happened in my life, Jody and I — we are launching a platform to help other women,” she told BravoCon2023 audiences, adding that she hoped to help “other people get through these really hard times and try to save costs on their divorce.”

Lisa said Splitwell was “almost like a calling.”
