UPDATE (January 25, 9:57 a.m.): We finally got to see what Captain Lee and Captain Sandy had been cooking up for us during the January 24 episode of Bravo's Top Chef. The Below Deck and Below Deck Mediterranean bosses greeted the Season 16 Cheftestants at Lake Cumberland in Kentucky and served as their nautical guides as they prepared to throw a delicious houseboat party for their elimination challenge.
Not only did Captain Lee and Captain Sandy do their typical tasks of showing the Cheftestants around the boat and steering the vessel, but they also got to join judges Padma Lakshmi, Tom Colicchio, Nilou Motamed, and guest judge Emeril Lagasse in tasting all of the amazing party food the chefs served up. We know Captain Lee and Captain Sandy love the yachting life, but eating the culinary creations of some of the finest chefs in America must have been pretty sweet, too.

We already know what would happen if Below Deck's Kate Chastain and Below Deck Mediterranean's Hannah Ferrier were in the same crew. But what would happen if Captain Lee Rosbach and Captain Sandy Yawn joined forces? We're about to find out.
The captains will come together for the new season of Bravo's Top Chef, premiering Thursday, December 6 at 9/8c. When a new batch of 15 talented Cheftestants heads to Kentucky for Season 16, they'll be tasked with an epic house boat challenge in Lake Cumberland featuring the Below Deck and Below Deck Med bosses. "You guys ready to rock 'n' roll?" Captain Lee says oh-so-awesomely in the above supertease for the new season. Oh, you bet we are!

This winter just got even more amazing, Below Deck fans.
