Below Deck Sailing Yacht's New Stew Is Here, and Here's How Daisy Kelliher Feels About Her
"I'm very out there, and I'm rebellious," Parsifal III's new stew Scarlett Bentley said while introducing herself to viewers.
Scarlett Bentley arrived to fill in as the new stew, and she was definitely excited to be starting this adventure as Captain Glenn Shephard was first to give her a warm welcome. "I love it," Scarlett said after getting onto the yacht. "On the water, so it's my happy place."
We then got to know a little bit more about Scarlett's personality. "I'm from Arkansas, but I don't like country music. I'm very out there, and I'm rebellious," she said in an interview during the episode. "I will touch the hot stove and see for myself."
Scarlett has lived in San Diego for the past three years, and that's where she got into yachting. "The first guy I dated when I moved to San Diego was actually a boat captain. We went out on the water the same day, and then it just became my life," she explained in an interview during the episode. "It's just, like, weird."
Scarlett said that she was raised on boats, although professionally, she has mostly done day charters and previously worked on a large catamaran. Although Scarlett doesn't have the most experience on superyachts, her new boss, Daisy Kelliher, was willing to give her a chance. "As long as Scarlett doesn't piss me off, she'll be fine," the chief stew said in an interview in the episode.
Daisy also introduced Scarlett to Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans in advance of Monday night's episode. "Welcome to the team," she said of Scarlett in a post on Instagram on May 15.
We also learned in the episode that Scarlett is single, so you know we're going to be tuning in to see how things develop for her in the romance department as this season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht continues.
