The future is looking "really bright” for Lindsay Hubbard.
It’s no secret that 2023 was quite the rollercoaster for the Summer House cast member. Lindsay seemingly began the year on a high note as she prepared to tie the knot with her Hamptons Housemate Carl Radke. The twosome got engaged in August of 2022 and planned for a November 2023 wedding in Mexico; however, just months before the big day, Lindsay confirmed Carl had called off their engagement.
“This was not my decision, and I do not agree with quitting a relationship (at this level) without trying everything possible first,” she wrote in a lengthy Instagram post. “I have spent the last couple of weeks finding my own closure and peace. I am forever grateful to my best friends who have not left my side, and have been picking up the pieces of my heart and life every day from the fallout.”

Lindsay Hubbard reflects on her split from Carl Radke
“There were definitely parts of myself that I lost inside my relationship [with Carl],” she explained. “I lost my free spirit. I’m a very free-spirited, fun-loving girl who just wants to laugh and giggle and have a fun time.”
Lindsay said her idea of success has drastically shifted over the past six months and will likely evolve as she reaches new heights.
“I’m pivoting my individual success, so if I’m putting too much pressure on the ‘engagement, marriage, babies’ portion of it, then maybe that’s not what the universe wants for me,” she continued. “Maybe the universe wants me running my own show and building my financial success as an individual, and, to be honest, I’m very grateful the universe stepped in... I have so much going on in the present and the future — and the future's really bright for me."
Lindsay Hubbard says she hopes "to find a happy, healthy relationship"
Lindsay made similar comments in a recent interview with People magazine, saying she was “highly focused” and “really busy at the moment.”
“I think after everything was said and done, after last year, I thought my future in life was going to go one very different direction for this year,” she said. “Then, when it didn’t, I decided to focus on my own individual successes and what I deem as a personal success in my life. That was OK.”
She continued: “When everything happened six months ago, I pivoted. Because that’s not the only thing I deem as successful for myself, is engagement, marriage, babies. That’s not who I am. I am a very hardworking, hard work ethic, strong-willed and strong-minded girl. So, for me, it is hopefully to find a happy, healthy relationship with someone who’s compatible, first and foremost. If the family comes, the family comes.”
