Lindsay Hubbard Shares a “Happy” Update on the First Anniversary of Freezing Her Eggs

Lindsay Hubbard is in the throes of planning her November wedding to Carl Radke, but she’s already done some preparation for her next chapter.

On May 15, the Summer House cast member took to Instagram to share that it was the first anniversary of her “egg freezing journey.”

“One year ago (it was actually Mother’s Day last year), I put some of my [eggs] on [ice] and honestly… I’m so happy I followed through with it,” Lindsay wrote in the caption of her post about the anniversary of her “egg freezing journey,” which featured a photo of her with a doctor from Extend Fertility in New York City, along with another solo shot. “It’s an insurance policy for myself, it takes the pressure of time off, and it lets me live life according to my own timeline!”

Lindsay chronicled her decision to get her fertility checked out on Season 6 of Summer House. The Hubb House PR founder brought her then-best friend, Danielle Olivera, along to Extend Fertility to get an idea of her remaining egg supply, and she learned she had “35-going-on-28-year-old eggs.”

In May 2022, Lindsay revealed that she had decided to take the next step in her journey by freezing her eggs. 

“OK… You guys remember when I checked my AMH levels (approx egg count [numbers]) on Summer House earlier this season? Well, I finally found a couple of weeks/time to sit still enough in NYC to follow through with the egg freezing process!” Lindsay wrote on Instagram.

Lindsay then shared an update on how she was feeling just a few days in.

“Right now, I’m on my 3rd day of hormone injections (I started on Friday) and it’s really not so bad… but I have about another week to go, so we’ll see lol!” Lindsay continued in her May 1 post. “I mean, I talked to [Carl] on the phone this morning (because he’s been out of town this [weekend]) and I teared up, then laughed hysterically at something, and then cried because my eyes are puffy and I feel like a pirate!”

On her Instagram Stories, Lindsay revealed that her then-beau had been supporting her with “a couple of smooches” while she was completing her injections, and then later by booking her an acupuncture session and bringing her a smoothie from Barry’s.
