The sixth and final season of Girls premieres later this month, and what better way to say goodbye to the critically-acclaimed comedy than by watching its cast reminisce about the beloved series on Inside the Actors Studio? James Lipton will welcome Girls creator, executive producer, and star Lena Dunham, as well as fellow cast members Jemima Kirke, Zosia Mamet, and Allison Williams to the stage on Thursday, February 9 at 8/7c.
The Girls crew is set to dish on everything we've seen on screen, such as their favorite scenes, their greatest takeaways, and what it was like to finally bid farewell to the show. We'll also learn a lot more about who these dynamic women are offscreen, such as why Jemima struggled to say yes to the role of Jessa, the craziest things that have happened to Allison during her sex scenes as Marnie, and why Lena finally decided it was time to say goodbye to Hannah and the rest of the characters of Girls at the end of six seasons.
This installment of Inside the Actors Studio will also be full of surprises, including an unexpected video message from executive producer Judd Apatow to Lena and a revelation about one of the ladies' ancestors that even her castmates were shocked to learn about. Who knows what else will happen when the cast of Girls sits down with James? But we already have a feeling that it'll be an all-around funny, charming, and thought-provoking evening.
