Tom Sandoval's Surprising Reaction to Ariana's Broadway Debut as He Teases His Next Career Move

Ariana Madix made her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in the revival of Kander & Ebb's Chicago on January 29, and now, her ex-boyfriend and Vanderpump Rules castmate Tom Sandoval is sharing his thoughts.

Tom spoke to E! News about the major career achievement on January 30, but that's not all he discussed. Instead, the Schwartz and Sandy's co-owner also revealed if he sees himself becoming friends with Ariana in the near future despite their dramatic breakup. What's more, Tom opened up about his own career.

Tom Sandoval's Reaction to Ariana Madix's Broadway Debut in Chicago

Believe it or not, the thought of Ariana's career trajectory had Tom reminiscing on the past. As he explained on E! News, "Honestly, thinking about it, it kind of brings me back. That was always her dream. I didn't know if that was going to happen for her."

Specifically asked what he would say to Ariana if they were on better terms, Tom said, "I'd be really proud of her and would probably be emotional."

Will Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix ever be friends? 

Speaking of being on better terms, Tom was also asked about the prospect of forming a friendship with his ex.

His response? "We'll see about that."

Tom Sandoval's Career

While Ariana's on Broadway, Tom is keeping plenty busy too. In addition to being in therapy — "I actually currently have two therapists," he revealed on E! News Tom is starring in a new original movie dubbed Tall, Dark and DangerousThe film follows a woman named Alice (Jamie Bernadette) who thinks she's met the perfect guy, Chris (Matthew Pohlkamp), on a dating app. However, Chris has actually stolen the identity of his roommate, who is played by Tom Sandoval. 

"It feels great," Tom said of his return to acting. "I did move out to L.A., like most people, to pursue acting and music. I was doing movies early on in my L.A. time and then obviously Vanderpump Rules happened. That juggernaut completely shifted me into reality TV. So, now it's really cool to come back and do something like this."

Does that mean he's interested in pursuing additional film roles? "I'm not opposed to it," Tom said. "I really enjoyed it. It was great, it was the perfect time."

Tom Sandoval and the Most Extras Tour Dates

Tom has also revealed that his band, Tom Sandoval and the Most Extras, has a number of tour dates lined up for 2024. "We’re back at it," he wrote in Jan. 2024. He often shares updates on when fans can see him perform on his Instagram.
