Tom Schwartz Explains Being "Single and 40" on the Vanderpump Rules After Show

Alongside Sandoval, Schwartz discussed his dating life on the Vanderpump Rules After Show.

"It's weird because I feel incapable — not incapable of love, but incapable of being in whatever a traditional relationship is," Schwartz explained. "But, at the same time, I don't want to be single. It somehow feels sad or pathetic."

That said, "This happens — I've seen it play out many times," he added. "I just never thought it would be me, you know? I kind of feel like a statistic."

Schwartz also admitted to feeling like it's "a red flag" that he's single at his age, but Sandoval said, "Not in L.A."

"Not in L.A., no, no, no," Schwartz agreed. "Most of my friends are 40 and single and happy and thriving and successful, but I just never thought it would be me, I guess."

Tom Schwartz's Relationship Status Today

Lucky for Schwartz, there's been a recent development in his love life. As he revealed during a February 20 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, "I would say I'm not not dating. I'm hanging out, it's new, it's exciting."

When Andy Cohen asked if he was dating anyone specific, Schwartz coyly noted that he's seeing "someone in particular...ish" with a heavy emphasis on the "ish."

"I think she would prefer if I didn't say," he added. "But I'm hanging out."
