Mia and Gordon are not in a good place in their marriage,” according to the look-ahead of Season 8. Mia has looked into getting a divorce attorney, but she's choosing to go to couples therapy first.

Gordon met Mia at a strip club charity event in 2003. They bonded over altruistic endeavors and married in 2012. In addition to their children, Jeremiah, 8, and Juliana, 6, they each have a child from previous relationships.

Gordon’s appearances on RHOP have stood out for various reasons. He has been called “a force to be reckoned with” by Housewife Karen Huger and it's been acknowledged he can be “a little extra.”

Gordon and Mia’s marital “ups and downs,” as she referred to them in PEOPLE, that led to their split, will be a focus on RHOP Season 8. The new season of The Real Housewives of the Potomac airs Nov. 5 at 8/7c on Bravo.
