A Timeline of Teresa and Jacqueline's Friendship
See the exact moment things started to fall apart.

This week's episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey seemed to solidify the fact that Jacqueline and Teresa don't have a future as friends. It's a hard pill for RHONJ fans to swallow, since there were two and a half seasons of Jac and Tre being the very best of friends. So what happened? What caused the downfall of these two besties? Let's see if we can spot the cracks that showed up through the years.
Season 3

Things first started to go awry between the two when Teresa made "jokes" at the expense of Jacqueline's sister-in-law, Caroline, in her cookbook.

The tension between Jacqueline and Teresa was also happening off-camera. During the Season 3 reunion, which Jacqueline did not attend, Caroline revealed Dina wasn't speaking to Caroline or Jacqueline because of things Teresa had been telling her. Teresa disputed the claim but Caroline was adamant.
Season 4

As these two's friendship has ebbed and flowed over the years, it always seems to come back to one specific argument: when Jacqueline asked Teresa about the tabloid claims that she was going to prison.

As time went on, Jac and Tre tried to repair their friendship and move on...

But when Melissa was accused of being a stripper, Jacqueline's trust in Teresa went down the drain.

As with most best friends, these two ladies have a lot of history, and they know a lot about one another. Having so much knowledge about each other -- and using it against one another -- exacerbated things further.
Season 5

Season 5 got off to a rocky start when Teresa blamed Jacqueline for the state of her relationship with her brother.
Season 7

After a long time of not talking, Jacqueline unexpected dropped by Teresa's house to see where things stood. The two made up, but as we saw this past week, things did not stay friendly for long.
