Richard Blais looks — and feels — like an entirely new man since he made permanent changes to his diet that resulted in a dramatic 60-pound weight loss. And now, the Bravo's Top Chef alum and Top Chef: All Stars winner has shared a photo from the time in his life before he committed to those game-changing lifestyle modifications.
On Instagram, he shared a photo of himself carrying noticeably much more weight. He captioned it, "Monday motivation. Here I am many years ago. It took a catalyst, in my case [wife] @jazminblais to get me to realize I had to commit to some self care and tackle it with the same spirit I did my professional life. It takes time, effort, support, and sound guidance."
He also included in the caption a shout out to the lifestyle challenge that helped make it possible for him: the Whole Life Challenge program, a structured program that aims to focus not just on nutrition and exercise — but also mobility, hydration, sleep, reflection, and well-being.
He wrote, "Join team #trailblaisers this July for the @wholelifechallenge and let’s take that first or ten thousandth step together."
It's about to kick off in July. If you're interested in joining, check out Whole Life Challenge and search for Team Trail Blaisers.
