BravoCon Returns In 2025 Married to Medicine

Anila Sajja Sets the Record Straight on Home Invasion and Apologizes to Toya Bush-Harris

The Married to Medicine cast member cleared up any misconceptions at BravoCon 2022.

By Allison Crist

Anila Sajja is putting the speculation on her home burglary to rest. The Married to Medicine cast member has been open about the traumatizing experience throughout Season 9, but as Anila explained during a show-themed panel at BravoCon 2022, she made a mistake along the way.

How to Watch

Watch Married to Medicine now streaming on Peacock and the Bravo App.

“I wasn’t proud of people thinking I accused Toya [Bush-Harris] of robbing my house,” Anila said, citing “rumors” she had apparently heard as the reason Toya’s name came up in the first place. “All the rumors that were being spread before the robbery… There were lots of rumors about me having a hit; that Toya told Kari [Wells] there was a hit out on me.”

Anila also brought up that Toya had a party the day her home was burglarized, “and we live in the same neighborhood.”

“I was just grasping at straws at that point,” she added. “All these rumors were coming at me.”

But while Anila claimed she never outright accused Toya of being involved or having any knowledge of the robbery, Quad Webb said that couldn’t be further from the truth. “Anila, you would tell anyone with a pair of ears that you thought Toya had something to do with it,” Quad said. “Let’s keep it 100.”

Anila, however, insisted she “went by the facts.”

“When those facts came to me,” she continued, “anyone would think that maybe she might have not done it but might have known something.”

Rather than double down on that assertion, Anila concluded the conversation, saying, “I’ll apologize to Toya for accusing you, I will, if that’s what people thought, because that was not the case.”
