Lauren Burchell

Deckhand

Lauren Burchell may sound like an Australian by her accent, but comes from a diverse background. Born in England to English and Brazilian parents, she was raised in Japan and moved to Australia to finish high school. Lauren's passion for the sea began when she was teaching scuba diving in Central America -- here she learned about the yachting lifestyle from a student. Within a few months, her hard work led her to a job on Richard Branson's "Necker Belle" where she worked as a Deckhand/Stew/Watersports Instructor for over six months. Lauren has worked on seven yachts with clientele ranging from multi-billionaire computer software designers to A-List celebrities. Lauren resides in Cairns, Australia and continues to do charters around the world.
