Alex Propson's traded his sea legs in for snowshoes on this season of Winter House.
The Below Deck Sailing Yacht cast member will be facing a new climate from the one he experienced while sailing on the Parsifal III when he temporarily sets down in Steamboat Springs, Colorado for Season 3 of Winter House.
While the Wisconsin native is likely used to the snow, Steamboat Springs is a far cry away from the coast of Sardinia, Italy where he was sailing during Season 4 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht. Although he might be in a different location and with a new set of cast members, it seems like Alex will be putting himself into familiar situations — like ending up in some romantic entanglements with his cast mates.

What happened to Alex Propson on Below Deck Sailing Yacht?
Viewers were introduced to Alex in the premiere episode of Season 4 as a deckhand trying to have a "hot boy European summer" aboard the Parsifal III. Alex came onto the ship as a captain based in Florida with minimal experience in sailing, having only worked on motor yachts before.
But, after a little bit of time on board, Alex quickly got the hang of things — and it certainly didn't hurt that his good looks made him a hit with the charter guests.
It also helped that Alex was easy to get along with; he has described himself as an "empathetic" and "socially charged person."

"I know who I am and how I affect other people around me," Alex stated during the first episode of Season 4.
In addition to being a hit with charter guests, Alex hit it off with junior steward, Mads Herrera, but they had only had a flirty relationship and never made the moves on one another, despite Alex's crush on her.
Alex also made out with chief steward, Daisy Kelliher, after the first charter.
During a June 2023 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Mads (who had a fling with First Mate Gary King) admitted to host Andy Cohen that she didn't even know that Alex had a crush on her.
"At that time, I really had no idea that Alex was interested in me, andthought he thought of me as a friend, and so I just didn't pursue it," she explained.
Is Alex Propson single?
In a June 2023 episode of WWHL, Alex revealed to Andy Cohen that he was seeing someone who he had first met when he "lived out in Los Angeles" years earlier. The two rekindled their relationship after he moved to Florida once filming wrapped on Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4.

Although he didn't reveal her name or any other identifying details, he did admit that the woman in question wasn't too happy with watching his flirtatious behavior throughout the season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, which started airing in April. "I think that she's not enjoying it at all," he joked.
But it's unclear what Alex's current relationship status is, since his Instagram account is full of photos of himself and shows no traces of any girlfriend. His Winter House Season 3 cast profile also alludes to the fact that he's looking for a cuddle buddy.

It's safe to say that Alex — who currently lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida — is a man of many talents. In addition to being a deckhand on the Parsifal III and a captain in Miami, Alex is also a part time model. The yachtie is signed to Front Management and serves a mean blue steel look.

Alex Propson on Winter House Season 3
You can catch Alex on the snowy streets of Steamboat Springs in Winter House Season 3, and, from the trailer (which you can watch at the top of this post), it appears like he does not mind the change in scenery one bit.
Alex can be seen telling Vanderpump Rules' Tom Schwartz that he loves him, then getting hit in the butt by a snowball, in addition to wearing a pirate costume for a house party. The trailer also hints at Alex ending up in some serious romantic entanglements, like hooking up with a few different people in the house and telling one woman to keep in touch with him on Instagram.
It certainly seems like he is in Colorado to have a good time. Per his Winter House cast profile: "Trading in his flip-flops for snow boots, Alex arrives from Fort Lauderdale with his long hair and free-spirited attitude. A natural-born flirt, Alex wastes no time getting to know the ladies in the house, but is quickly called out by one for his game being too obvious."
