Shereé took to Instagram on March 12, to share a video of her mom smiling and dancing, where she revealed that she had been "dealing with a lot" in the wake of her mom's diagnosis and wanted to "bring awareness" to a cause near and dear to her heart.

"Alzheimer's and dementia is a disease that has affected millions of people worldwide," she wrote in the caption of the post. "As many of you know, my father passed away last March due to Alzheimer's. It saddens me that [this is] the one year anniversary of my father's death and this disease is also affecting a very close family member, my mom."

"This has been one of the most difficult experiences I have ever endured, especially going through this with close family members back to back and feeling helpless like there is nothing I can do but try to make them as comfortable as possible when of course that's not enough!"

Shereé then reached out to her followers, asking for tips and help during this time. "I have tons of questions [and] I am open to learning more about this disease and would love to know how you guys are managing it," she wrote in the caption.

Her followers and friends, including The Traitors Season 2 cast members, Mercedes "MJ" Javid and Tamra Judge, took to the comments of the post to share their support for her.

"Oh Shereé, I'm sending you prayers and love. This has affected my family and it's so difficult," The Traitors Season 2 winner, Trishelle Cannatella, wrote. "One day at a time."

"I went through this with my mom also," another commenter added. "The best advice I can offer is PATIENCE. This disease will turn the kindest person into someone you cannot recognize. Patience is key."

Shereé closed out her post with words of wisdom for her followers. "Please remember to tell your loved ones that you love them while you still can!"
