Below Deck Med Season 5 Will Welcome a New Stew and a Familiar Charter Guest

This season of Below Deck Mediterranean isn't quite done with making your jaw drop. There are plenty more surprises on the way, as you can see in the above sneak peek of what's still to come this season, which first aired following the August 17 episode.

For starters, we'll get to meet the new stew coming in to help out in the interior following Hannah Ferrier's departure. "Our new stew seems nice," Malia White says in the preview, while Captain Sandy Yawn tells the new crew member as she welcomes her aboard, "I'm so happy you could come."

This season of Below Deck Med will also see the return of Johnny Damon and his wife, Michelle, as charter guests, and it looks like they will definitely bring the party once again. Not to be outdone, another charter guest is set to leave his mark on Below Deck Med with an unforgettable ensemble, as is deckhand Alex Radcliffe with a sure-to-be-memorable belly dancing outfit and routine.

But as much fun as the Below Deck Med crew has, there will also be some drama, especially in the romance department for Jess More and Rob Westergaard as well as Bugsy Drake and Alex as they all continue to navigate their relationships this season.

We'll also get to see how the newest addition to The Wellington crew, Tom Checketts, fares as chef, although it looks like he's going to encounter some conflict with Captain Sandy, which Malia seems to find herself in the middle of.

All in all, Captain Sandy will have her work cut out for her as she tries to keep her crew together to successfully finish out the charter season. "This is yachting, folks. It's emotional, it's tiring, it's about a team," Captain Sandy delivers a rousing speech to her crew at the beginning of the clip. "I want us to be champions, not at each other's throat."
