Anila Sajja Had a Fashionable Night with the Family Karma Crew
The Married to Medicine cast member shares a glimpse at the "outstanding" event.
Anila Sajja is celebrating in style with the Family Karma crew. The Married to Medicine cast member recently took to Instagram to share a glimpse of a fabulous fashion show in which she walked the runway for in Miami, featuring Anisha Ramakrishna's latest collection of designs, as well as Monica Vaswani, Bali Chainani, Brian Benni, Amrit Kapai, and newlyweds, Vishal Parvani and Richa Sadana.
"Congrats to my [Bravo sister] Anisha Ramakrishna, Family Karma, and [Riya Collective] for putting together an outstanding fashion show!" Anila wrote in the caption of her March post, which featured a series of photos from the glamorous event. She went on to add, "So glad to walk this runway and be part of a powerhouse group of talented, high energy, brown beauties!!!
"So much fun!" wrote Amrit in the comments of the post, while Anisha added, "Love you queen." Married to Medicine's Dr. Simone Whitmore's hubby, Cecil Whitmore, also chimed in on the post, writing in the comments, "My folks!!! You should have invited me," to which Anila replied, "You should have came!!! Well the crew is coming to [Atlanta] in a few weeks!"
Anisha also revealed an inside look at the chic event, displaying runway moments on her Instagram. "Gorgeous. I'm so sorry I missed it," commented The Real Housewives of Miami's Marysol Patton, while Anila wrote, "[I] loved everyone single one of your looks!!!"
Anisha also shared a series of snapshots with friends and family from the fashion show and expressed her gratitude in a heartfelt message on Instagram.
"Saturday night was amazing and a dream come true," Anisha wrote in the caption of her March 14 post, adding, "Thanks to [George William Anthony Read], [Gregory Trujillo Esq.], [Marysol Patton] for putting me in touch with the right people at the [SLS Brickell], they shared my vision and supported the South Asian community. It’s because of the hotel staff, the models, and the [Kahani Digital], [Azhar PR] team that we were able to pull off an amazing fashion show for [Riya Collective] inside SAAM Lounge."
She went on to add, "This feat comes as a big win for the South Asian community in the U.S. We were given a powerful platform and a beautiful venue, SAAM Lounge at the SLS BRICKELL, to showcase our wonderful and colorful culture, fashion and music. I feel so incredibly blessed and I’m forever grateful to have been able to have had the tools to make such magic happen. To everyone involved, my family, my parents, vendors, and friends, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude."
