How to Watch

Catch up on Married to Medicine: Los Angeles on the Bravo App.

During the first season of Married to Medicine Los Angeles, Dr. Noelle Reid and Asha Kamali Blankinship revealed that despite knowing Jazmin Johnson for over a year, they had never met her psychiatrist husband. Since then, Dr. G has been somewhat of a mystery. So does Shanique Drummond know him? She spilled some details during the June 13 episode of The Daily Dish podcast, which you can listen to below.

“I have met Jazmin’s husband on several occasions, whether it’s at house parties, or whether I’m there and he shows up after work. He is actually a really, really nice guy,” explained Shanique. “Just really mellow temperament. Even Robert has met him as well. Really nice guy.”

Shanique also gushed about her strong friendship with Jazmin, explaining the connection the two share.

“My friendship with Jazmin is like a sisterhood, you know? It’s interesting how her and I connect, and we understand each other and we feed off of each other,” she said. “When she’s down, I’m there to be her rock, and when I’m down, she’s there to be my rock.”

Shanique even joked that when the ladies went to a Halloween haunted hayride, she grabbed onto Jazmin when she got scared instead of her husband, Robert.

“Why? Because Robert would’ve been there like, ‘babe, calm down,’ but I know Jazmin will be there like, ‘I know you’re scared. I’m scared, too. Let’s do this together.’”
